A moving ‘time capsule’ containing the last belongings of a First World War soldier has been found in an attic after 98 years.The possessions of Private Edward Ambrose were sent home from the Western Front to his devastated parents after he was killed at the Somme.Too painful for his family to look at, the poignant items were shut into a leather case and put into storage where they have since remained for almost a century.
