A Bamburgh shipwreck has been designated by English Heritage as of national importance.It follows research work carried out by the Maritime Archaeology Sea Trust MAST last summer.The wreck was partially exposed early in 2013, lying south of Bamburgh Castle and recovered by sand in the huge tidal surge of December 2013.
