The noble sport of jousting is set to be re-created in Britain this weekend as the new season begins at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordhshire. The martial sport – where two horsemen riade at each other attempting to kill or unseat the other using a long lance – dates back to the Middle Ages and was popular in Britain and Germany.
