If Facebook says it, it must be true. That seems to be the attitude of many internet users this week, as a picture of Steven Spielberg sitting next to a ‘dead’ dinosaur did the rounds on social networking sites. The picture, posted by Facebook user Jay Branscomb attracted comments from, let’s say ‘less adept at life’ users, causing a flurry of disgruntled comments. It spread like wildfire, attracting a social storm of anti-hunting protests, whilst also proving that some people might need to step back from their computers once in a while and read a science book…
