There’s been a sudden interest in all things zombie-related in the past decade, fueled in no small part by the events of 2003. That’s when the comic book “The Walking Dead,” about a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies made its debut, and when Brooks published his first book about the undead, “The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead.”
