Comedy legends don’t come much more comedic or legendary than the late great Douglas Adams.
Best known for his delightfully bonkers The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – the sci-fi radio play that, thanks to the books it spawned, became a global sensation – the humourist’s premature death in 2001 is still mourned by his many many, many fans worldwide.
But now his family have allowed comedy historian Jem Roberts to explore the Adams archive: boxes of previously unseen paperwork kept in the vaults of his alma mater, St John’s College in Cambridge…
