The paranormal world, does it exist? Many cultures believe it does especially the east. The west, well that I would say is evenly split in people who don’t and people who do believe. It’s only when one experiences a paranormal event that one begins to question the true meaning of reality.

Last year I gained proof for myself that there is another world beyond what we can see and feel.

My experience began when an aircraft mechanic telephoned me to report a big cat sighting on an airfield in Derbyshire. He said that the previous couple of nights he and some other people had witnessed a large feline animal walking along the edge of the airfield. After a lengthy conversation we agreed that I would go down to the airfield and conduct an investigation. At that moment I thought about my friend Kirst who lives in Derbyshire, I thought I should ask her and see if she would like to come with me. An hour later I was back home and decided I would give Kirst a call but upon looking at my telephone I noticed a missed call. I called the person back and said Hi this is Paul Westwood, I’m sorry I was out do you need to speak to me. The lady replied oh, I’m sorry my friend was trying to contact an engineer but must have dialled the wrong number. She then said ‘Paul Westwood, I know that name, I’m Kirstys mum, I think she may have mentioned you’. I nearly died on the spot! Only an hour previously I was thinking about Kirst and then somehow Kirsts mother’s friend tried to contact an engineer but got me instead!

On checking with the call from the aircraft mechanic and Kirsts mothers friends missed call, I found that the time of the missed call was only ten minutes after the aircraft mechanics call.

When I spoke to Kirst I asked her if her mother had my number, she said no she doesn’t. Kirst does not readily believe in paranormal events unless proof is available. But considering her mother was involved she could provide no clue as to how this happened.

What had caused this synchronistic event? And why did it involve Kirst mothers friend?
