PEOPLE are being encouraged to help unearth artefacts from the past as part of community archaeology event at a popular park.Members of the public are being invited dust off their old clothes and join staff from Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, in West Street, Swadlincote, to excavate though history at Eureka Park this summer.Spades and brushes will be used to try and unearth treasure buried at the park as part of the national Festival of Archaeology 2014, which takes place from July 25 to July 27.
