A new book, Alien: The Archive, published by Titan Books, reveals never-before-seen photography and artwork from all four Alien films. This exclusive gallery showcases a small selection of on-set photography and sketches from Alien 1979, Aliens 1986, Alien 3 1992 and Alien: Resurrection 1997. The image above depicts the “alien dog” suit from David FIncher’s Alien 3. During the filming, a whippet was used to create the scenes, but in the finished film, the beast emerges from a Rottweiler.
