In the cave of Shepherd Paris on Mount Ida, a local tourist discovered names engraved on the walls, predicted to belong to famous British archaeologist Frank Calvert, in Aegean province of Çanakkale.
Calvert is known as the first archaeologist having carried out excavation works in world renowned ancient site of Troy, between 1863 and 1865, located in Çanakkale.
