A gold medieval ring found by a Stockton businessman has been confirmed to be treasure.Ian Bisset, 59, from Fairfield, was metal detecting on cultivated land at Red Hall Farm, next to Castlelevington, when he got a sharp signal from his detector.He started digging down through the soil and when he reached around six inches deep, he noticed the ring.
