Stargazing in the 17th century: Dutch archaeologists discover the OLDEST working telescope in the world

Archaeologists in the Netherlands claim to have found the world’s oldest telescope.Dating back to the 17th century, it could predate any other telescope known to be in existence.The find was made during digging works for a railway tunnel in the city of Delft in South Holland.
